To help drive actionable insights for our customers, the Watching That platform enables users to create a wide range of beautiful, customisable, and flexible widgets using our available visualisations that help you quickly get to the data that really matters. Instantly understanding and acting on real-time information.
Here's a handy guide to the range of data visualisations available (with more being added all the time).
Types of Visualisations:
Our visualisations are flexible units that can be used to easily create and organise widgets within your reports. With an intuitive drag & drop interface, the visualisations can be created from our full list of metrics & dimensions (insert a hyperlink to this article here).
We have a range of visualisations to help you get started, our visualisations can be categorised into five types, each described below:
- Table
- Timeseries
- Value
- Horizontal Bar
- Multi-Column
- Correlation Table
Table:
Sometimes you just need to see rows of your data in a clear table format. The Table Visualisation lets you select multiple dimensions and metrics to get everything you need in one place and you can easily export it to Excel
Timeseries:
Our Timeseries Visualisation enables a view of key metrics trended over time, with comparisons to the previous time periods so that performance can be easily tracked
Value:
Our Value visualisation gives a top-line view of your key business metrics. These visualisations will keep you up to date on your progress and will also show percent change from previous time periods.
Horizontal Bar:
The Horizontal Bar Visualisation is another way to gain a top-line view of your key business metrics or the performance of a specific dimension by a key metric. These visualisations will give you a clear breakdown with a nice visual, these are most popular when combined with a Bar/Line visualisation.
Multi-Column:
Our Multi-Column visualisation integrates a range of metrics into an at a glance view of a key dimension. These visualisations are great to spot patterns and correlations across one specific dimension.
Correlation Table:
Our Correlation Table visualisation allows you to look at the correlation of a key metric across two dimensions. These visualisations are great for spotting clusters in specific metrics across two different dimensions and helping pinpoint a jumping off point for investigating further.
