You've received your welcome email to login into the Watching That platform for the first time. You're asked to create a new password for your account. Below we'll outline some recommendations to make sure you create the most secure password possible.
Step 1 - Use a combination of letters, numbers and symbols
It is important when creating a strong password to make it as unpredictable as possible.
Using a mixture of special characters, symbols, and numbers is a great way to ensure that your password is secure, safe and unpredictable.
Step 2 - Ensure that passwords are 8-12 characters long
When creating a password it's important to remember longer = better. We would recommend creating a password that uses no less than 8 characters and possibly as many as 12 or more.
Step 3 - Never include personal information in your passwords
With so many passwords across so many sites and so many devices it's easy to want to make your password as easy to remember as possible by including personal information. We would recommend not using anything personal that could be easy for someone else to guess.
Step 4 - Don’t recycle your passwords
Every password you create should be original and unique and not used across multiple accounts. This helps stop others from gaining access to multiple logins should they guess one of your passwords.
Hopefully you now have everything you need to create a safe and secure password!
